- Install Android on HTC
Step1
Download Android image file in the HTC SD card. Make sure that you have around 200 MB of free space available in the HTC device memory. You can download Android OS source code from Android Open Source Project. After downloading you will need to build the source code for the HTC mobile device.
Step2
Make sure that the files (in the folder) that you have copied lies in the root directory of the SD card folder. Next you need to run the file name CLRXAD.exe. This you can do with the help of file explorer in the HTC device.
Step3
Again you need to browse the SD card with the help of File Explorer and run HARET.exe.
After running this file, the device shall take 10 to 15 minutes to actually boot up. That’s it! Now go ahead and use Android on your device.

NOTE: Android OS or for that matter any OS is very much hardware dependent software. For all the features of this OS to run on your device, your phone should be fully compliant with the OS that you are installing. Although full care has been taken to provide you with the latest and compliant built but still some features of your phone might not work.
